すでに伝説と化している1996年ペイジ＆プラントの1996年ジャパン・ツアーより、2月13日東京・武道館公演と、
2月15日大阪城ホール公演を、現存する最上級の映像&音源をアップコンバートし、ブルーレイ化。
当時ゼップの再来として注目を集め、しかも全10公演行われたジャパン・ツアーのセットリストが、すべて日替わりで披露されるという、
まさに伝説的な唯一の来日公演は、過去にも数多くの音源と映像が残されてきた中で、今回ブルーレイ化にあたり、まずライブ映像に関しては、
VHS時代から当時のAUDショットとしては奇跡的なレベルで知られた「THIRD EYE PRODUCTIONS」の映像マスターを使用。
そして海外コレクターが編集したデジタル・リマスター映像バージョンをベースとし、さらにHDクオリティーにアップコンバートしてブルーレイ・フォーマットに変換。
さらに音声パートは、この2公演は過去より知られる、関係者流出によるSBD音源が存在しており、こちらをデジタル・リマスタリングも施しマトリックスするというこだわり。
よってかつての同内容のVHSやDVDと比較すれば、オリジナル映像とベスト・ソースに編集し直されたライブ音源によるレストア作業により、
そのクオリティーの違いはあまりに歴然。そしてこの時のみのツアー・バンド、エジプシャン・ユニットの帯同、日本のオーケストラとの共演、
日々変化するセットと、そのすべてをこのクオリティーで観れるということは奇跡的といえるもの。

This guitar was custom ordered back in 1995 and delivered in 1998. No expense was spared on this guitar.
Triple AAA Spruce top, hand made Mid-Depth Bowl Cutaway , abalone diamond inlays on a ebony fretboard, abalone binding around the body,
neck and headstock. Flawless Vintage Gloss Black Finish! Just gorgeous.
Gold(24K plated paint) Schaller tuners with Gold(24K plated paint) knobs,
Ebony bridges, Premium OP-24 Pro Studio electronics, Preamp with 3-way toggle between necks (6, 12 or both).
This is a super rare guitar, Ovation did not mass produce these for the general public
and were pretty much only made to order for those folks who could afford a 5-Figure custom made guitar.
The cost back then to have one of these made was $16K. Today would likely be $20K.
Ovation made roughly 20 of these maybe of which Richie Sambora(BON JOVI) has around three of them.
Jimmy Page(LED ZEPPELIN) has two, Wonderland TEA has Four so that doesn't leave many left for the public,
The probability is 1/11 if your lucky enough to own one. This guitar is in Near-Mint condition.
Electronics work great, sounds great and the deep bowl acoustically produces some serious low end
and has nice highs. Very comfortable to play too. Slightly headstock heavy but could easily be adjusted with a counter weight on the strap.
Sitting is no problem at all. Comes with a custom made Calzone case which is basically bullet proof and will be shipped in it.
Yeah it's that rugged. These rarely come up for sale ever.
If you have always wanted a real US made quality Double neck, then this is the one for you. Build quality
and craftsmanship is nothing like the Korean made ones that sell for $2K.
This guitar is built like a 5 figure guitar. It's perfect.
